With a combined experience of over 20 years as qualified practicing speech pathologists, we have earned strong reputations for providing highly skilled, attentive and professional services across the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas. Our individualised therapy approach is developed with a focus upon client centred goals, tailored to fit with their family’s lifestyles, whilst incorporating evidence-based methods with fun and functionality always being at the forefront. 

Here at Communication Buzz, we work collaboratively with families, teachers, doctors and other allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary approach whenever possible, in order to ensure holistic therapy goals and achieve the best outcomes across all areas.

Our point of difference is that we are both the directors and sole clinicians at Communication Buzz, so clients can be assured that they will be receiving the highest level of quality and attentive service from experienced clinicians dedicated to achieving the best possible results for yourself or your child. We are Certified Practicing members of Speech Pathology Australia, which is a title given to speech pathologists who meet an annual benchmark for professional development and demonstrate a commitment to providing evidence-based therapy.

Although we are qualified to work across a diverse range of speech and language disorders, we both share particular interest in the areas of Early Language Delay, Developmental Language Disorders (DLD), Complex Speech Disorders (including dyspraxia and phonological errors), Paediatric Feeding, Literacy Development, as well as communication difficulties relating to Autism Spectrum (ASD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). We also have a passion for working with adult communication and swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and the development and implementation of mealtime management plans.
